Welcome to Lake Country Botanical Atelier!
Our mission is simple yet deeply intentional: to marry the grit of sustainable Virginia agriculture with the timeless elegance of high-end floral artistry. We aren't just planting a field; we are curating a boutique experience dedicated to heritage blooms, artisanal craftsmanship, and bespoke botanical styling.
Starting Autumn of 2026, before our peak bloom, we will open the outdoor area to the public (by-appointment) to enjoy our beautifully landscaped grounds. Bring your own picnic or select our full service picnic (featuring a signature charcuterie board). The newly landscaped grounds will be the perfect space for your private marriage proposal, free from the unpredictability of public parks. We will be offering private exclusive use options to have the entire property for your booking.
We also welcome photographers, creators, and other business partners who would like to use our private grounds and escape unpredictable public crowds.
Rest stop options will be available for anglers and bikers along the East Coast Greenway Trail (which runs along Red Lawn Road).
Coming July of 2027, when our farm is expected to be in peak bloom, we will begin offering flower picking, bouquet pick-up, design workshops and other floriculture agritourism experiences.
About the Owner
My commitment to this project is driven by a deep, lifelong connection to Mecklenburg County. My family's roots run generations deep in this soil, anchored by my great-grandfather’s former Clarksville farm, which is still in our family. Having grown up visiting this area as a child, it has become my ultimate desire to invest back into this community, ensuring it remains agriculturally vibrant, economically strong, and beautiful for generations to come.
Located in the countryside of Boydton, Virginia, just 5 miles from Buggs Island Lake and the Kerr Lake Dam.
